On the 29th November 2023, the KMDC team spent a day with Help for Hunger, a charity in Haringey that provides Christmas hampers families and individuals that would otherwise go without.

In 2022, the charity provided hampers to 602 families, with a total of 2,217 children. In 2023, the final numbers of hampers were:
1,013 families who would have otherwise gone without.
A total of 5,678 bags of food and gifts.
These included gifts to 2,997 children who would have woken up on Christmas day to nothing.

The hampers consist of essential food and gifts for all in the family, and is run with help from the incredible community and the support of St. Monica's Church who give up their space for the packing of hampers.

It was a privilege to spend a day with the fantastic volunteering team and make our contribution to the invaluable work they do.
